Mr. Prescott has been teaching in Saint Paul for 28 years.  He has two business degrees from Mankato State University and a Master's in Education from Saint Mary's University. He has taught intermediate grade levels throughout his 26 years.  He has taught grades 4 through 8 at four different elementary schools in Saint Paul.  Currently, Mr. Prescott has been teaching at Como Elementary School for 10 years.

When not at school, Mr. Prescott likes to go camping with his family as well as reading books at the beach. Mr. Prescott has also coached for many years at North Dale Recreation Center in Saint Paul.  He has coached basketball and soccer.  Mr. Prescott is also involved in fund raising in the area. He belongs to Friends of Como Athletics, which raises money  for children in the areas of sports, music, and the arts.

Mr. Prescott lives in the Como neighborhood with his wife.  His two daughters attended Saint Paul Public Schools and both graduated from Como High School.  His oldest daughter is a teacher in Saint Paul too.  His youngest graduated college with a sports management degree and currently works for USA figure skating in Colorado Springs.

Como Elementary School is very open and inviting.  The staff work very hard to make everyone feel apart of our community. Staff meet and greet everyone everyday with a smile.
