Ms. Dorow has been teaching K-5 students in Saint Paul Public Schools for 25 years.  Ms. Dorow earned her M.A. from the University of Minnesota.  She has adventured in Korea, Canada, Tanzania, and Namibia.  She has collected a vast array of pebbles and sand from around the world.

She has been a 5th grade classrooom teacher, a reading teacher, a specialist for culture studies, a specialist for social studies, and now a specialist for science.

Ms. Dorow has been active in district science curriculum writing.  She encourages her students to be phenologists, people who observe changes throughout the seasons, especially with animals and plants.  

Ms. Dorow would like all science students to be active participants, observers, and bold questioners.
