Mrs. McConley

My name is Kim McConley, and I am the technology specialist at Como Park. I work with students and staff, and oversee the technology equipment here at school. This is my third year at Como Park and my twenty-sixth year at Saint Paul Public Schools.

I have my B.S. in Elementary Education from UW-River Falls, an M.S. from Winona State in K-12 education, my technology/keyboarding K-8 license from Hamline University, and my administrative license from The University of Minnesota-Twin Cities.

Students in pre-k through fifth will have the opportunity to come in and work with a variety of items and materials, and will be recording their work in Seesaw or Schoology through their iPads. Como Park also has 10 desktop and 15 laptop computers in the lab where students will gain experience working on a variety of projects integrating technology into what students are learning in class. We will focus a major part of our time on coding and computational thinking skills.

Each student has an iPad to use in class. Part of my job is to help support staff and students in using technology in the classroom, along with assisting with online testing.
