Hello, I began teaching at Como Park Elementary after coming from Capital Hill Elementary in 1995. I have a degree in African Studies, Criminology and a Masters from St. Mary's in Curriculum Design. I also possess a Graduate degree from Concordia University. Schooling is very important to me! The master plan is to continue my education at the University of Minnesota seeking a Doctorate in Education. Over the course of my tenure, I taught second through sixth grade. I currently teach at the fourth-grade level. 

When I am not at school, I love to tutor teenagers in my community. I also love to watch high school sports and help student-athletes achieve their dreams of playing sports in college. I help run a very successful recruiting service that has placed many student-athletes in college. Some have even gone on to play professional sports!

My family and I currently reside in the community where I teach. This is very important to me as an educator. My family and I also provide low-income housing for families. I was fortunate enough to have a spouse who is a general contractor with her own construction company. She has used her skills to help those less fortunate in my community.

Como is a very unique place to teach. It has a wide, diverse teaching population that supports diverse students. My belief is do what it takes to make a difference in the lives of children. To make that happen you must do it by ANY MEANS NECESSARY!
