Hello SPMA Families, 

My name is Jill Bertelsen and I am excited to be a part of the St. Paul Music Academy, as a School Social Worker.  I am licensed by the Minnesota Board of Social Work as a Licensed Independent Clinical  Social Worker (LICSW) and by the Minnesota Department of Education as a School Social Worker.  I received my BA in Social Work from University of Wisconsin River Falls and earned my Masters in Social Work from Wayne State in Detroit, Michigan.

When I am not at SPMA I enjoy spending time with family and friends.  I have a young son who keeps me busy.  I enjoy being outdoors, going for long walks and hikes.  I love to travel to new places and enjoy reading a good book.
