  • Hi, my name is Andrea Sparks and I am so happy to be teaching Kindergarten at Saint Paul Music Academy.

I started teaching kindergarten in Saint Paul in 2006 at Crossroads Elementary. I taught K for 11 years and took a short break and when I returned I taught Pre-K for 3 years. I am excited to be back in the Kindergarten classroom.

I have two children, Reign and Isley. Both will be attending SPMA this year. Reign is starting first grade and Isley will be starting kindergarten. When I'm at home, I love to bake, watch movies, take walks, and play with our bearded dragon named Ron.

I graduated from University of Wisconsin-Stout with a degree in Early Childhood. I later went back to school and got a Masters degree in differentiated instruction. I love to learn and want to help students the best I can, so I went back to school AGAIN and received a Masters in trauma informed practices in the classroom. I think it is important for me to have all the tools I can to provide the best experience for my students.
