Speech-Language Pathology Services

  • At Four Seasons A+ Elementary, speech and fluency services are provided by a speech pathologist who is also a board-recognized specialist in fluency (stuttering) disorders. We are the only school in the district fortunate enough to have a fluency specialist on-site four days per week.

    Speech and Language Services at Four Seasons

    Speech and Language Evaluation and Therapy services are provided at Four Seasons A+ Elementary School Magnet by Carolyn Belle, Ph.D., CCC-SLP, BRS-FD, Speech-Language Pathologist, 4 days per week.  Services are provided during the school day in the speech room, the classroom, and throughout the building as needed, in a small group or individual student setting, depending upon student needs.

    District Fluency Resource Staff

    One day per week, the Four Seasons A+ Elementary School Magnet speech-language pathologist, Carolyn Belle, Ph.D., CCC-SLP, BRS-FD, serves as the SPPS district-wide resource staff in the area of Fluency Disorders (Stuttering and Cluttering).  Carolyn Belle is a Board Recognized Specialist in the area of Fluency Disorders.  She works across the district with other SPPS speech-language pathologists to help provide quality evaluation and therapy services to our students who stutter and their families.  (Please see http://specialed.spps.org > staff resources > speech-language pathology > fluency for fluency evaluation and treatment information.)
