MLL stands for Multilingual Learning. It can also be called ESL (English as a Second Language) or ELL (English Language Learning).

Four Seasons A+ has many programs to meet the needs of English Language Learners

• Language Academy (LA) - intensive language support for new immigrant students

• Latino Consent Decree (LCD) - bilingual support through ELL bilingual teachers

• English Language Learner (ELL) Program - building English fluency in social and academic language

MLL teachers provide extra instruction and practice in listening, speaking, reading and writing in English.

Classroom teachers and MLL teachers work together to teach all subjects so multilingual students are fully included in the larger school and classroom community.

Our goal is to help students develop a strong cultural identity because we value multilingualism and multiculturalism.`

Currently, our multilingual students speak 20 different languages. They include - Afan Oromo, Amharic, Arabic, Bengali, English Creolized, French, Hmong, Karen, Mam, Mandingo, Mandarin, Marathi, Nepali, Pashto, Polish, Somali, Spanish, Swahili, Tigrinya, Ukrainian, Vietnamese, and more!
