Dear Families,

Hello! My name is Erin Johnson, and the students may call me Ms. Johnson. I graduated in 2007 from Beloit College with a BA in elementary education and psychology. More recently, I graduated from Hamline University in 2020 with an MA in education. I have been teaching since 2013, and I have been with Saint Paul Public Schools and Four Seasons since 2023. 

I am originally from Saint Paul, and I attended elementary school at Four Seasons back when it was called Longfellow!  I lived and taught abroad for several years in South Korea, Sudan, and Thailand.  Now I live with my partner, two cats, and one dog in the Twin Cities.  In my free time I like to read, play board games, hike, and spend time with my family and friends. 

I believe that education is necessary to student success. I work to make sure that the learning instruction and environment is engaging and accessible for all of my learners.  My goal is to make learners feel safe and supported, and to be civil-minded, curious, empathetic, life-long learners ready to take on challenges,

Parent engagement is an important part of supporting students. I prefer to communicate by text or translated text messages, though email is the best way to reach me during the school day.  I welcome and encourage your involvement in our classroom community.  You may contact me if you would like to volunteer in our classroom sometime.
