Monday, February 13 was National African American Parent Involvement Day. Horace Mann School hosted Nothando and Vusi Zulu from the Black Storytellers Alliance. They shared traditional African tales and folktales in two assemblies. Their big booming voices and animated expressions brought stories of kindness and respect alive for the audience. Students were engaged and interacted throughout the show.
