Horace Mann School 5th graders competed in a school spelling bee. Finalists included Amelia, Maija, Leila, Ada, Biruk, Oscar, Luka, and Henry. Students battle through seven rounds to determine a champion. They sweated and spelled through words such as aggravate, devisation appendages, homeopathic, and incontrovertible. The winning word was catastrophe. Congratulations to Ruby who will represent us in the regional competition.
