Welcome to another exciting school year! I've been teaching for over 18 years. I have been at Eastern Heights since 2011. I graduated from Winona State University with a bachelor's degree in Elementary Education and a Master's in Education focusing on reading from Concordia University.

Kindergartners bring so much freshness to the classroom with their willingness to share what they know and to learn new things as they navigate the world around them. This year in kindergarten, we will be learning many things as we work together as a learning community. We will be learning, exploring, and discovering academic expectations as well as things that are happening around us and with us. 

I love listening to music, reading, watching baking and cooking shows and eating, although some would say I’m a pickie eater! My family includes my husband and four daughters. With our busy schedules, we look forward to the weekends where we can spend quality time together as a family.
