Hello!  My name is Dawn Luchsinger.  I am a Speech-Language Pathologist at Eastern Heights Elementary.  

I became a Speech-Language Pathologist because I believe that communication skills are essential for happiness and success in school and in life.  I believe that all children can develop skills to successfully communicate their wants, needs and ideas.  It is my mission to ensure that this is possible for all of my students.

A Little Bit About Me:

I graduated from the University of Minnesota in 1993 with a degree in Communication Disorders.  I completed my master’s degree at the University of Minnesota in 1996.  I have been at Eastern Heights Elementary for over 20 years.  I have thoroughly enjoyed my years at Eastern Heights and have had the privilege to work with many amazing children and their families.  Personally, I am married and have two sons.  Our family enjoys bike riding, fishing, watching movies, reading and playing games.
