Mrs. Pulley

Kathryn Pulley is the WINN reading teacher at Humboldt. She teaches reading skills to 6th, 7th, and 8th grade students in the WINN program. WINN stands for "What I Need Now." It is a program that helps students learn the specific decoding skills they need right now to bring them closer to reading at grade level.

At the start of this year, Mrs. Pulley has been a teacher for over 18 years. Her credentials include a master's degree in English from the University of St. Thomas and a bachelor's degree in English Education from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire. She is currently enrolled in a graduate certificate program for Reading from Minnesota State - Mankato.

Mrs. Pulley's family includes her husband and daughter. In her spare time, she loves to spend time with her family biking, hiking and playing outside. She also loves to read, listen to podcasts, and play Dungeons and Dragons with her friends.
