Graduation Information

  • Dear Humboldt High School Family,

The Coronavirus Disease (COVID-19) is greatly impacting students, families and school staff in Saint Paul and across the country. But there is one group that we’re all thinking about -- our seniors in the Class of 2020.

These students were looking forward to so many big events and traditions this spring. Prom. Musical performances. Spring sports. Senior trips. And of course, graduation.

We acknowledge that some of these traditional experiences create memories that will last forever, and now, they may not happen.

SPPS acknowledges and empathizes with the disappointment our seniors and their families are experiencing. It’s heartbreaking.

We want our seniors to know that we support them. We see what they’re going through, and even though their senior year looks different than anyone expected, they are still seniors, and this is still a time to celebrate their accomplishments!

SPPS is actively working to gather feedback from students and families, as well as plan what the Class of 2020 graduation will look like. We are working hard to find creative ways to honor the accomplishments of this special group of students.

More information will be shared about our plans for honoring the Class of 2020 in the coming weeks. Please continue to check your email, your student’s school website and spps.org for the latest information about graduation.

Thank you for supporting your child and Humboldt High School.

    Sincerely,

    Michael Sodomka, Principal

    Humboldt High School
