Welcome to my page! My name is Paul Henning. I'm one of the two 8th grade Global Studies teachers. I'm a local to the area, having grown up on the East side of Saint Paul. Prior to BCMS, I earned a Graduate degree at Teachers College, Columbia University in New York City. I look forward to developing informed, critical-thinking students who will be able to center their identity in order to make meaningful change within their communities.

In addition to teaching, I coach track and field for our Middle School. As an athlete myself (mainly in endurance sports), I take pride in developing our athletes' fitness levels, healthy body images, and a positive team dynamic.

Besides teaching and coaching, I'm also known at BCMS for holding the record for the longest reigning Universal Champion in our monthly rock paper scissors competition, holding it for 9 consecutive months, a feat never before seen.

When I'm not at BCMS, I spend my time training for the Nordic ski season. I also enjoy playing music and fishing.
