Hello, My name is Luke Leba (He, Him, His) and I’m the new CLSD Literacy Coach at BCMS as of October in the 2021-2022 school year. I’m a product of the Minneapolis Public Schools, and a graduate of the University of Minnesota, St. Thomas University and St. Mary’s University. I’m a St. Paul resident and proud to live in the community I serve. I also have two children (Pre-K and 4^th grade) who attend St Paul Public Schools; and my spouse is also a teacher in the district. We are a SPPS family! 

While I’m new to BCMS, I’ve taught/coached in the Saint Paul Public Schools for over 20 years. I’ve taught grades 6-12 in the areas of Reading, Social Studies and AVID. I’ve worked in some incredible schools (Harding, OPEN School and AMSSP) and worked with countless amazing staff. When I’m not teaching, you can find me out and about in St. Paul enjoying all our city as to offer including trying new foods, attending concerts and enjoying the company of family and friends by a backyard fire.
