Help our students succeed – become a tutor!

The Heights Community School needs your help. We’re currently looking for four people to serve as tutors for the 2017-18 school year. As a tutor, you’ll work with students every school day to help them become successful readers!

No experience is necessary —Reading Corps provides comprehensive training and ongoing coaching. Tutors are paid a living allowance every two weeks and are eligible to receive an education award up to $5,815 for college tuition or student loans. Tutors 55 or older may gift the award to a child or grandchild. Many positions also qualify for free health insurance.

Learn how you can get involved by visiting readingandmath.net. You can also help by telling a friend or family member (grandparents make great tutors, too) about openings at our school and statewide! Positions start in August for the 2017-18 school year.
