Hello! 

My name is Stephanie Hitchcock and I have been at The Heights Community School since 2019. My role at The Heights is the school social worker. I work to support and advocate for students and families. I primarily work with students who receive special education services. I work to help address mental health needs and social emotional learning.  I also work to bridge the gap between home, community, and school. 

 

Some of my other roles include helping families experiencing homelessness, helping families access resources, helping students and families access outside mental health care, working with families to eliminate barriers to getting their children to school, among many others. 

 

A little about me! 

I received my bachelors degree in social work from Mankato State University in 2014.  I recieved my masters of social work from the University of Minnesota  in 2017. 

I live in St. Paul with my husband. I love to be outside, bake, and be with my friends and family.
