I am pleased to share with you that I have selected a new leader for Como Park Senior High School. It is a name you are quite familiar with. Please join me in welcoming Dr. Diana Brown as your school’s new principal beginning in the 2023-24 school year.
Dr. Brown has been the assistant principal at Como Senior for the last two years and brings a wealth of experience in helping all
students feel represented andaccepted for who they are. She has served Saint Paul Public Schools (SPPS) for 11 years as a classroom teacher and in administrative roles. Dr. Brown understands the importance of collaborating with staff and families and embracing the unique gifts that each student brings.
Dr. Brown looks forward to partnering with families, students, staff and the community to continue the great work at Como Park Senior High School.
Dr. Brown has excellent academic qualifications with a masters in teaching and education from the University of St. Thomas, a masters in education at the College of St. Scholastica and her educational leadership doctorate at Concordia University in St. Paul.
Dr. Morris and Dr. Brown will continue to work together to ensure a smooth transition and a strong start to the new school year. To help, please take a moment to complete a short survey.
