Ian Zangs

I am a Special Education Teacher, primarily for students with Learning Disabilities.  I am in my 4th year at Como Park Senior High School. I teach small group Reading Standards and Skills for College and Career Readiness.  I also co-teach 10th grade Geometry with Mr. Scull and Ms. Feest.

I am originally from the East Side of St. Paul and graduated from Johnson High School. I earned my Bachelor's of Science in Psychology at UW Madison and received an Academic Behavior Strategist K-12 license after completing my Masters of Education at the University of St. Thomas as part of the Saint Paul Urban Teacher Residency program. I am in my 2nd year of coaching the Boys Soccer B Team and coach baseball at Johnson High School. In my spare time I like to go backpacking and camping in the midwest. I previously worked at American Indian Magnet as a paraprofessional and completed my residency at Frost Lake Elementary.

Grades are posted on Schoology. If you have questions about your student's grade or classes, feel free to contact me (I usually can respond quicker via email than phone).
