Here at Como Park, we offer a wide variety of classes that offer something musically inspiring for everyone! In vocal music, there are a variety of leveled choral ensembles where you will be challenged to find your voice through singing and more. In instrumental music, we have an orchestra and two wind bands. We provide students with experience in instrumental ensembles an opportunity to further develop their skills on their instrument through these ensembles. 

We also have Piano and Beginning Class Guitar which allow students to experience playing those instruments in a group setting. Extra-curricular opportunities through the music department include: an annual musical, a vocal jazz ensemble and an instrumental jazz group and solo and ensemble contest opportunities within Region 4AA Class.

Como Park Strings have received "superior" ratings at 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017 and 2018 at the Minnesota State High School League Region 4AA Solo Ensemble contests. In 2019 Como strings were chosen for their excellence to perform at MMEA. Our Jazz band has been recorded, an appeared on, Jazz Radio 88 as well! Way to GO Cougars!
