I've been working in Elementary Montessori since 1991, first in Minneapolis before coming to St. Paul in 1993.  I attended UMD for my Elementary Ed degree and graduated in 1983, St. Catherine University for my Montessori Certification in 1994 and Hamline University for my Masters in Elementary Literacy in 2006.  I've been working as a Elementary (E1) teacher at Nokomis Montessori since 1993.

I'm married with two grown children.  I enjoy traveling, reading, being outdoors and spending time with family and friends.

In my classroom there are 1st, 2nd and 3rd graders.  The children are part of our classroom community for three years.  We focus on Cooperation, respect, independence and a joy of learning.  The children enjoy Mathematics, Geometry, Cultural studies, and Literacy.  The children are in groups by grade, ability, interest, and/or whole class.
