Jeanne Naylor

My name is Jeanne Naylor, and I am the part-time Learning Disabilities Teacher at Nokomis. I began my teaching career as an Educational Speech/Language Pathologist in 1989. After ten years of working in that field, I transitioned to being a Learning Disabilities Teacher in the public schools. I have been with St. Paul Public Schools since 2008. This is my first year working at Nokomis.

I obtained my B.S. in Communication Disorders from St. Cloud State University and have 20 graduate credits in Communication Disorders from the University of Wisconsin—River Falls. I also completed a M.Ed. in Special Education with a focus on Learning Disabilities from Bethel University.

In my spare time I enjoy hiking, reading, gardening, and going to Orchestra Hall to hear the Minnesota Orchestra. I also teach Pilates, and spent six years working in the fitness industry.

I  truly enjoy seeing the love of learning blossom in my students so that they can experience success with their learning and achieve their goals.
