Hello!

My name is Jared Grabko and this is my first year teaching at Chelsea Heights! I received my Bachelor's in Music Education and Bachelor's of Music at Western Carolina University in North Carolina in 2022 and am in my second year of teaching. Outside of the classroom, some of my hobbies include hiking, listening to music, playing the ukulele/trombone, playing video games, and watching movies. Two of my favorite movies are Coco and Lilo & Stitch! I am a huge Disney fan, be it movies or the theme parks themselves. In fact, this past summer I went on vacation to Disney World!

To me, music is much more than playing an instrument or singing a song. It is a means of self-expression. I want nothing more than for students to feel like they can be brave, heard, and safe in a judgment-free zone full of love and compassion, regardless of experience and ability level.

I am absolutely thrilled to be a Chelsea Heights cheetah and look forward to having a wonderful year jam-packed with creating new relationships, making great music and memories that will last a lifetime!
