Welcome to Kindergarten!

I am a native of New Orleans, Louisiana and live in Blaine with my husband and 4 children.  We enjoy finding fun events to get into on the weekends as spending time as a family is important to us.  We love to travel and visit Lebanon every other year.  On my free time, I love to read, have a nice cup of coffee with my husband, play games with my children and watch the Game Show Network.  Our family loves America Says!

I have been with Saint Paul Public Schools since 2008.  I began my experiences with the district as a teaching assistant for a kindergarten class and an Elementary 1 Montessori classroom.  It was such an inspiring job and experience, that I decided to pursue my Masters Degree in Education and became a classroom teacher. I believe there is nothing more precious than an education.  There is so much to learn from children and so much to teach them.  We never know where our curiosities will lead us and that is what makes teaching so enjoyable. I joined the Chelsea Heights Elementary team in 2022 as a kindergarten teacher and have loved everyday teaching young children.  Being at Chelsea Heights is like being a part of a family - strong teachers, strong supports and strong families!
