Welcome to Physical Education!!
My name is Jennifer Dobson and I have been teaching Physical Education at Groveland Park Elementary since 2017. I have been teaching in the St. Paul School District since 1994. I graduated from Northwestern College in St. Paul and earned my master's at St. Catherine's.
Being physically active is a passion of mine and I am excited to share that passion with the students here at Groveland. I love keeping up on the latest and greatest in Physical Education and Fitness. I want Groveland students to understand why daily physical activity is important and then teach them skills and activities they can use and do to live a healthy lifestyle.
When not teaching, I love to spend time with my family and friends and take my dog on walks. I enjoy working out, reading and golfing. I love to travel to warm places in the winter and the mountains in the summer.
I enthusiastically get to know each of my students and what inspires them.
