Mrs. Goulet has been teaching kindergarten at Groveland Park Elementary since 2014. She has a BS in Elementary Education from Saint Catherine's and an MAED in Education from Hamine University. She is also trained in Reading Recovery. Mrs. Goulet has been teaching for Saint Paul Public Schools since January of 2000. She has taught kindergarten, 1st, 4th, and 6th grade, and has been a content coach. 

In Mrs. Goulet's classroom, her main goal is for children to love coming to school. It is a play-based environment where children get to use their imaginations while playing, drawing, building, writing, and creating while learning academically what they need to be successful in first grade.

When not in the classroom, Mrs. Goulet likes to read, travel, sing, do art, and especially spend time with her family. She also loves to go for long walks and spend time in the natural world. During the summer, she raises monarch butterflies and baby turtles.

Mrs. Goulet lives in Hugo, Minnesota. She is married and has three daughters and five grandchildren. Spending time with her grandchildren is her favorite activity.

Mrs. Goulet loves teaching at Groveland. Mrs. Goulet believes that Groveland has a wonderful community of students and families. One of the premises that drives her instruction is that all children can and want to learn. Together with parents, she feels, we can help our children achieve great success.
