The 2023-24 school year marks my 23nd year at Groveland. 

Most of my classroom experiences are in grades 5 and 6. My educational background is in history and political science.  I am a strong believer in continuing education and try to model for my students the love of learning. I recently finished my doctoral degree, teach a graduate class for future history teachers at the University of St. Thomas, and deliberately share my personal learning in class. 

When I am not at school I spend time with my family and dog, travel to surf, read, play soccer, and love to just be outside.
