Ms. Felber - Grades K, 3-5

  • My name is Ellie Felber and I have been the school counselor at Groveland Park Elementary since 2020. I love being part of this wonderful community of students, teachers, and families!

My primary focus is to provide the support students need to be successful in school and in life. I support students in academic, social/emotional, and postsecondary areas through individual meetings, small groups and classroom lessons. I use guidelines and frameworks developed by the American School Counselor Association (ASCA) to inform the work that I do at Groveland Park. I collaborate with teachers and the other support staff to make sure that all students are receiving the support that they need to be successful.

I love being a school counselor and feel honored to work with so many wonderful students and families every day! My hope for all of our students is that they would feel valued and supported in their journey as learners.

Please contact me with any questions or concerns, or if you feel your student could use additional support in any of these areas.

Ms. Emily - Grades 1-2

  • Hi Groveland Park Students and Families!

This will be my first year at Groveland Park and I am absolutely thrilled to join this strong community! My time will be split between Groveland Park and Farnsworth Lower Campus. I will be at Groveland on Mondays, Wednesdays, and every other Friday and will primarily be working with 1st grade and 2nd grade students.

I graduated from University of Minnesota - Morris with a bachelor's degree in psychology and human services and received my master's degree in education - counseling from University of Wisconsin - River Falls. I am passionate about mental health and helping students with their academic, social/emotional, and career development needs. As a school counselor, I aspire to make a holistic difference by building positive relationships, fostering opportunities for growth, and meeting all students where they are at. In my spare time I love to travel, play and sing music, and spend time outdoors.

I am excited for another school year! Please reach out if you have any questions :)
