Mrs. Murphy is in her second year with the  Bruce Vento community working as a specialist teacher. She has previously taught for 12 years in the Saint Paul Public School District. She has mostly taught first grade but has also worked as a literacy teacher. She is excited about working as a specialist teacher, getting to spend time with all the students. Mrs. Murphy is eager to incorporate literacy skills into technology learning. 

When Mrs. Murphy is not teaching, she enjoys spending time outside with her family and friends. During the summer, she can be found teaching summer school and then spending lots of time with her family. She enjoys camping, hiking, biking, reading and swimming. 

This school year will be fun and full of great learning with Mrs. Murphy.
