Welcome to 4th grade! My name is Ms. Jensen, and I am thrilled to be working with you and your child this year. This is my 4th year teaching in St. Paul. I love the curiosity, confidence, and energy that fourth graders bring to the classroom. 

I earned my Bachelor's degree from the University of Iowa (Go Hawkeyes!), and I earned my Master's in teaching from the University of St. Thomas. Prior to becoming a classroom teacher, I was a literacy interventionist and English language teacher.

When I am not at school, you can find me outside running, gardening, rock climbing or spending time with family and friends. I also enjoy exploring the dog parks with my partner, Will, and our dog, Kenai. I grew up in Des Moines, Iowa. After living in La Coruña, Spain (hablo español) for one year, I made the move to Saint Paul.
