Food Resources

Summer Food

Saint Paul Public Schools (SPPS) will provide free meals to children 18 years old and younger though its Summer Food Service Program. It also serves those who are 19 years old and older, have a mental or physical disability and who participate in a public or private nonprofit school program for the mentally or physically disabled.

The Summer Food Service Program begins June 12 and ends Aug. 24. Meals will be available at more than 65 locations throughout the city. Meals may include breakfast, lunch, supper or a snack, depending on the site's hours of operation.

For a list of current sites, download the Summer Eats Minnesota app for meal service times or visit www.fns.usda.gov/summerfoodrocks. Families and children can also call the United Way 2-1-1 information line at 651-291-0211 or text their location to 612-516-FOOD to find meals nearby. Call 1-866-3-HUNGRY or 1-877-8-HAMBRE (for Spanish speakers) to find a site for free, nutritious summer meals near you.
