    IB Mission Statement
The International Baccalaureate aims to develop inquiring, knowledgeable and caring young people who help to create a better and more peaceful world through intercultural understanding and respect. To achieve this the organization works with schools, governments and international organizations to develop challenging programmes of international education and rigorous assessment. These programmes encourage students across the world to become active, compassionate and lifelong learners who understand that other people, with their differences, can also be right.

    Mays Mission Statement
Through rigorous intercultural and interdisciplinary studies, students will be empowered with the communication and leadership skills necessary to become productive global citizens who are inquiring, knowledgeable, and caring.

The IB PYP (Primary Years Programme) is centered around four key ideas. The programme is concept-based, inquiry-based, transdisciplinary, and international-minded. For a brief overview of the IB PYP, watch the presentation below.
