I am the Cultural Specialist at Benjamin E. Mays and have been with SPPS and at Benjamin E. Mays since 2011. After spending many years in Kindergarten classrooms as a Teacher's Assistant, I am using my experience and creativity in a larger capacity. Family Engagement through Title 1, providing resources to families, creating a beautiful and welcoming school environment and coordinating schoolwide activities are some of the ways that I support our school and students. 

I am also the afterschool coordinator for FSX-EDL

I have an A.A.S degree from St. Paul College
