About the teacher: Hello! My name is Brett Shomion and I am excited to be a member of the Dayton's Bluff community. I have been teaching in the Saint Paul Public Schools since 2000. Most of my career was spent at Webster/Obama Elementary as a 3rd grade teacher. I also worked at Benjamin E. Mays prior to arriving at Dayton's Bluff. I have taught 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade. Recently, I have been mentoring new teachers and working collaboratively with other staff members to maximize each child's gifts and talents.

This year I will be the WINN Math teacher. I will be pulling  small groups and using data to drive instruction. I am looking forward to working with you and your child. I will work hard to ensure each student's social and academic success. Please feel free to contact me via phone or e-mail.
