Mr. Devin Peterhans

Hello students and families,

I am starting my first year at Farnsworth. I am excited to be a part of this school and community. I work with kindergarten, Ms. Tayson’s, and Ms. Vang’s 1st-grade classes as well as 3rd and 4th grade.

I grew up in Seattle, WA, and moved to Minnesota in 2018. I graduated from Evergreen State College with my bachelor’s degree in biology. I received my master’s degree in counseling from Adler Graduate School. I highly value supporting students with mental health, building resilience, social-emotional and academic skills. As a school counselor, I use a strengths-based approach when working with students and aspire to work with them from a holistic lens where I can meet them where they are. Outside of school I love spending time with family and friends, hiking in nature, and playing sports, especially soccer.

I look forward to this school year and getting to know you! Feel free to reach out to me with any questions.
