Hello!  I am Ms. Tschida (pronounced “cheetah”).  I have taught English as a second language for 5 years and 3rd grade for 3 years.  This is my second year teaching 1st grade at Farnsworth.  I studied education at Eau Claire University and got my masters in reading  from Grand Canyon University.  I am from St. Paul and while I am grateful to live here, the cold is not my favorite!  I live on the east side with my dog Chico and I’ve enjoyed the summer with family and friends in the sunshine.  I also took a trip to Puerto Rico! I love to read, garden, sing and hike.  I love to bring music into the classroom as well as some plants from home to add some greenery to our environment.

I am so excited to teach 1st grade teacher at Farnsworth Aerospace!  As a school family we are going to learn, play, laugh and grow together.  I am looking forward to partnering with you this year to help your child reach their full potential.
