Hello, my name is Mara Verstraete but the students know me as Ms. V. I am an English Language (EL) teacher and I am working with 2nd grade and Kindergarten students this year. I work with classrooms to support students whose home language is not English. I work with small groups of students to provide extra language support in content areas. I help students develop their listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills. I am happy to meet all of the new students this year.
