My name is Jackie Abts.  My role at Mississippi Creative Arts is as an Academic Support teacher in Literacy.

After working in corporate, I went back to school and graduated with a Master’s Degree in Education from The College of St. Catherine.  Most of my previous teaching experience has been working for a small Catholic school in St. Paul as a second grade teacher.

I am excited to be back at Mississippi Creative Arts for my second year and look forward to supporting students in Literacy.

I enjoy spending time with family and friends, working out at the YMCA, and cheering on the Green Bay Packers!
