Principal, Dr. Lydia Kabaka

  • Welcome to Mississippi Creative Arts!

My name is Lydia Kabaka and I am the principal of Mississippi Creative Arts School. I am excited to be part of the MCAS community and I am looking forward to working and growing with you. I have been in St. Paul Public Schools since 2012 and served as an administrative intern, and most recently, as assistant principal at Washington Technology Magnet. I have a wealth of experience working in urban school districts in a variety of different roles.

My credentials include a Bachelor’s of Arts degree from Concordia College from Moorhead, MN, a Master’s of Science degree from St. John’s University in Jamaica, NY, and my Doctorate in Educational Administration and Leadership.

Thank you for allowing me the opportunity to serve as your principal at MCAS and working towards our mission to provide all students a quality and comprehensive education to ensure academic growth through the use of artistic experiences. It is truly an honor to be able to work with you.
