I am so excited about meeting you!

As a teacher, my guiding principles are that everybody has a right to feel welcomed, to feel that they belong, to feel that their thinking matters, and to learn. My goals in teaching 2nd grade are to get students to a place where they feel happy to be at school, curious about the world around them, and confident in their individuality and growing skills. 

I love to read, draw, ride my bicycle, knit and be outside. I have two children attending St. Paul Public Schools. This is my second year working in St. Paul Public Schools and my 12th year of teaching. I have taught 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th and 6th grade! 

Fun Fact: The river in the photo behind me is the Mississippi River!
