Welcome back to a new school year at Mississippi Creative Arts School. My name is Mai Houa Vang and I will be your child’s teacher this year. I have been teaching in the district since 1995.  We will be learning many new things this year in Math, Reading, Writing, Science, Art, Dance, Music, Drama, and more. We will also be working on integrating the arts with the content areas.

I’m looking forward to a fun and exciting year, and I intend to make learning a positive experience for your child. I am asking for your support by sending your child to school every day, making sure that your child reads at least 20-30 minutes in the evening and asking your child what they learned at school each day.
