Xin chào and hello students and families!

My name is Jason To (he/him) and I am the 4th grade EL teacher. Students call me Mr. Jason. This is my second year teaching EL at Mississippi and I even had the pleasure of student teaching in the building. I am so excited to work with your students to build their English ability. A little more about me outside of school is that I grew up near St. Paul in Maplewood and graduated from the University of Minnesota - Twin Cities with my Masters of Education in Second Language Education in 2022. I am Chinese and Vietnamese American and I love learning more about all the cultures within our school and community. I would love to hear about how you and your student(s) celebrate your culture at home and how we can bring that to school.
