Hello, I am Lorena Sanders. I have been in the field of Education for more than 20 years. I started as an English Teacher in my home country of Ecuador. First in elementary schools and moving on to secondary schools. This is my first year as an English teacher at the Mississippi Creative Arts school, but I worked as a Spanish-English interpreter for 4 years at that school. 

My first language is Spanish, and I also learned Quichua, which is an indigenous language in Ecuador. Teaching is my passion and I am really glad to have this opportunity to move on to this position as an English teacher and stay in the same school. 

I am very excited about starting this new chapter in my professional life.
