My name is Anna McCulloch, and I am a School Social Worker at Maxfield Elementary. I have worked in the St. Paul school district for the past 8 years and bring skills and expertise working with students experiencing trauma and stress at school and at home and planning and implementing lessons and activities to help students learn and practice social skills and build self esteem. I am married and have four children that attend school in St. Paul. When I am not at work I like to go to thrift stores, exercise, explore state parks, and participate in outdoor activities with my family. When working with students I focus on their individual needs, use a strengths perspective, listen and show empathy. I also have a vast knowledge of resources including food and housing insecurity, clothing, foster care system, Ramsey County services, after school programs, Mental Health services referrals, and more.
