HPE is excited to offer Pre-Kindergarten classes to our families! We have three programs to fit the needs of all hopeful students. All classes meet five days a week and follow the SPPS school year calendar. 

1. Early Childhood Special Education Self-Contained - Half Day
Our first class is an Early Childhood Special Education (ECSE) self-contained class for students after their 3rd birthday who have qualified for Special Education. It is a half-day, morning only class that meets daily from 7:30am until 10:00am. It has 8 students who have additional needs with 1 special education teacher and 2 special education teaching assistants. 

2. Early Childhood Special Education Self-Contained - Full Day
We also offer an Early Childhood Special Education self-contained class that is full-day for students who are 4 years old by September 1st who have qualified for Special Education. This class will meet daily from 7:30am until 2pm, has 8 students taught by 1 special education teacher and 2 special education teaching assistants.

3. Full-Day Pre-K
The two full-day classes meet daily from 7:30am until 2:00pm. They have a maximum of 20 students taught by 1 general education teacher and 1 general education teaching assistant.
