Kelsey Maniaci

My name is Kelsey Maniaci, I am the Licensed School Nurse for St. Anthony Park.  I have a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the College of St. Benedict.  This is my first year at SAP, and third year in the district.   I enjoy working with students to manage chronic health conditions at school such as allergies, asthma, diabetes, and seizures, and also attend to injuries during the school day.  I teach students skills to manage their health conditions to make them healthy learners.

I am at St. Anthony Park on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays.

Should you keep your child home from school due to illness?

Keep your child home if he or she:

  • has a temperature of 100 degrees or more, today or yesterday
  • has vomited or had diarrhea during the night or in the morning
  • has an unknown rash and fever

We encourage your child to come to school in the morning even if they are not feeling the best.  If he or she were to become ill at school, we make every attempt to contact parents/guardians.
