Welcome to Science and Engineering at SAP!

I have been teaching in SPPS since 1986 and this is my 20th year at SAP.  I grew up on the Eastside of St. Paul and graduated from Harding High School a long time ago.  The first 10 years of my career I was a sixth grade classroom teacher and have been a Science Specialist since that time.  In addition to teaching at SAP, I teach Science Teaching Methods courses at the University of Minnesota.  I am driven by the curiosity and questioning that comes from the students when presented with a discrepant event or a lab that challenges a misconception. 

During my free time, I enjoy spending time outdoors with my family.  I also like following all of our Minnesota teams.  Thank you for being part of the Wolf Pack!
