My name is Maria Roth and this is my first year here at St. Anthony Park!  I have been teaching for 18 years, with the last 7 of them being at Obama Elementary here in St. Paul.  Before that, I taught at North Park Elementary in Columbia Heights.  My husband and I have two middle-school daughters, and we have a  lovable lab named Greta!  We live in St. Paul and enjoy traveling, sports, heading north to fish (both in summer and winter), as well as heading south to visit family in Iowa (but don't worry, we are not Hawkeye fans by any means!).  I am happy to be teaching 5th grade here at SAP and look forward to a wonderful year.
